A Makoami comic about the perception of love. 1/4

First panel:
“At Makoto’s apartment”
Ami and Mako still share an embrace, closeup of Mako gently grabbing Ami’s hand.

Second panel:
Mako looks concerned towards Ami
“Are you ok?”
Ami nodding hurriedly in response

Third panel:
Ami reaches up, grabbing Mako’s cheek while trying to go back into a kiss, but gets stopped and pushed back down by Mako. Ami averts her gaze and adjusts her glasses while furiously blushing.

First panel:
Mako looking serious towards Ami
“Ami, look at me.”
Ami looks down embarrassed and says nothing

Second Panel:
from Mako, “Ami, does this.. Am I doing something that’s making you feel uncomfortable?”
From Ami, “No!” “No, you’re not doing anything wrong.”

Third panel:
Mako taking off her dish washing gloves
“What is it then? You’ve been acting odd for some time now and you only seem to get like this when it’s just the two of us”
“If something’s bothering you I’m here to listen, but if you don’t give me anything and you just keep hiding from me like this I’m simply left thinking that I’m hurting you in some way. Talk to me, please..”

First panel:
“It’s not you Mako.”
“...”
“It’s me. It is always me.”
Ami puts her head in her hands and audibly sighs. Mako tightening her embrace, stroking her back for comfort.

Second panel:
“I don’t even understand why I confessed to you in the first place.”
Mako looking extremely hurt, slowly taking her hand off Ami’s arm.
Ami noticing the sudden out of character withdrawal.

Third panel:
Ami suddenly realizes her poor wording and jumps to apologize immediately.
“No, wait! I’m sorry, please, I’m sorry.”
“That’s not how I meant to phrase that!”
Ami looking hesitantly at Mako, her hands tentatively making their way towards her.

First panel: Ami’s hand nervously reach towards Mako’s, grabbing a hold of her wrist.

Second panel:
Ami grabs Mako’s hands very delicately by her fingers.

Third panel:
Ami gently holding Mako’s hands.
