I doubt this is actually the end of the fund, but it’s probably enough to give the GOP cover to confirm Blanche.

Honestly? The GOP attacks on Fauci and the attempt to revise the entire COVID pandemic. They’re completely underwater everywhere, and they’re trying to dredge up any red meat they can possibly find to feed to their base. I hate that Fauci is going through it, but good news for us politically.
I actually understand Beshear’s stance on this. If they want to drag it out until Tuesday and then admit he’s dead or incapacitated, let them. An empty seat and one less GOP vote until January sounds pretty good to me. Nobody seems to think he’s coming back to the Senate either way.
Not easily. Historically, Iran has projected power via proxies. Now they’ve learned they can also just attack the gulf states and hold the global economy hostage. They’re weaker militarily, but far stronger strategically than they were prior to this war. They know they have the leverage.
The only realistic way that Elon can meddle in the midterms is through his bullshit PAC. He’s going to dump hundreds of millions of dollars into trying to get GOP candidates elected, but I don’t think it’s going to help. The GOP is underwater on every issue right now, and the economy sucks.
