Zarik is a berserker, though it was a rage kept well under control when he was still the prince. after fleeing into the Deep and undergoing his Mysterious Magical Change (more on that later), it's a much more animal, fierce anger. old art of regular berserker state and 'oh shit, RUN' glowing state

1/3 Lhurin is exposed to the Living Stone while in the Deeps. the veins, called birithel (abstract) and biriâth (specific), can produce brilliant light, and a metallic ore (lakh) can be harvested from them (i am not a photo editor, don't look too close)
