My wife and cousin have set up opposite war camps across the living room over the topic of if pringles are crisps. My cousin has a firm position that yes, cos things are what they are. My wife has the position that they're made different, so Pringles are a kind of gnocchi. My aunt is on this side.

Seeing a bunch of my long lost Welsh family tomorrow for the first time as an adult. Gonna be interesting, especially for the two of us that have transitioned in the interim.

The desire to Exploit Something is also revealed in that in these quests to replace humans with a more tireless, more controllable, reprogrammable type of slave, the new ethical questions that arise go forever unconfronted. Of course, we know what their answer will be. Fending for ourselves & dying.

We already have automation in the form of specific function robots that will always outperform anything that resembles a human because… well that’s the point of specific function robots in the first place. That productivity problem is solved there without any messy mimicry of human response.

The drive for AI, the desire for humanoid labor & by extension the demand for sexbots lays bare the modern status obsessed capitalist desire for what they can convince themselves is an ethical form of exploitation. It’s proven by the quest to simulate intelligence. The stimulus of abuse is crucial.
