Finding out that Amazon edited the Last Airbender to remove fight where Katara beats up the sexist old man who refused to teach a girl is actually pissing me off. They refuse to let women have even one thing. They do not want us to have freedom or even joy.
Stuff like this is part of why I keep making my books that center trans characters and let them be out and proud and heroic and loved. It all both motivates and frustrates me. Big companies are clearly too afraid to do the right thing and feature trans characters. Cowards and collaborators, all.
