Watching PAUL (2011). KINO LORBER's 4K scan is only of the theatrical cut (I prefer the Extended), but it's SHOCKINGLY gorgeous. One thing I'll give Adam Matrolla is that he makes his films look beautiful, which is not something you generally see in comedies, which I tend to find visually flat.

PAUL (2011) is the brainchild of SImon Pegg and Nick Frost, tho it's likely Simon Pegg doing the heavy lifting in the scipt department (I increasingly think that he was the secret sauce behind Edgar Wright's early successes, too...), and directed by Greg Motolla, a solid comedy director.

Paul (2011) Seth Rogan alien harasses British Blokes and the entire population of Wyoming. Surprisingly really funny and solid. (7/10)
