One of the children's workshops this weekend involved creating fantastic amalgamated animals. To give them a steer, we provided some examples. Of the ones I sent, this was my favourite.

Herne Baying again. Another great weekend by the sea with @procartoonists.bsky.social and #BeachCreative. Big boards and general silliness.
Here's another of my amalgamated animals for the exhibition which runs alongside the 'Fantastic Animals' workshop #TheSurrealMcCoy & I are doing the at #HerneBay cartoon fest on Sat, 2pm at #BeachCreative 🐓🐊🖍 More detail about the whole weekend of cartoon events: procartoonists.org/herne-bay-ca...
What are you up to this weekend? Why, you're going to Kent of course - for exhibitions, workshops and real, live cartoonists gambolling loose on the streets.

Digging back three years for today's visit to #RejectionIsland, in the week an OpenAI agent went rogue.
Pleased to have a cartoon in the new Private Eye. Here's one of mine from the previous edition.
If the *real* World Cup was the friends you made along the way, Argentina lost so many times over.
To #RejectionIsland, where "I'm from the north" looks set to knock "My father was a toolmaker" off the top of the irritation chart.
I've not had a cartoon work equally well across twitter, bluesky, LinkedIn and Instagram before. Nice that, even in this divided world, people from right and left, professional and casual can all enjoy old Don getting hoofed in the pods by Tintin. Heartwarming.
Belgium doing their bit to 'stop the steal'. (One for the @cartoonmovement.com)
Don't bring a rowing boat to a ship-of-the-line fight, I guess.
I don't think the weather will comply, but the sentiment still stands.
TRUMP ARRIVES IN UNITED KINGDOM
Pleased to have a cartoon in the new Private Eye (even if it is a bit hidden away!). Here's one of mine from the previous edition.
"Football Unites the World" (in opposition to violating the spirit of fair play and sport independent of political interference). One for the @cartoonmovement.com
In more positive chicken news, the flock is replenished. 6 new additions. The one with the haircut has been named Ellie Kildunne. Teresa 'La Aguja' Moreno and Eddie the Eagle are names under consideration. Suggestions welcome.
Farewell Optimus Prime. Always the best looking of the flock. "Until that day... 'til all are one", she clucked (I presume).
It may look innocuous, but that's shedding blood for the cause at the sports day parents' tug-of-war and has been noted as such by the children. Filial respect incoming.
"And finally, would monsieur President like a wafer-thin mint?"
