⚠ PSA to artists and clients on #VGen about a Discord scam going around!! ⚠ a scammer is scraping profiles (both artists and clients) to make fake discord accounts impersonating them, then reaching out to people they've worked with in the past who have their discord info publicly visible

I keep thinking about starting a snail mail club. But my dumbass can't make it simple, I want to do a chose your own adventure style story. I just need to figure out how the recipients would give me their choices... I feel like the logistics could get complicated real fast 😅

So where do people get their commission clients from nowadays? I know it's been a struggle for a lot of artists (including myself) these past 2 years or so, and that there are many reasons, but I feel like it's been incredibly hard to get new eyes on my work nowadays.

This is what I mean when I say that its depressing doing art, writing fics, gposing, ect and getting crickets in response. "Do it because you like it" only goes so far when fandom is supposed to be nerds and creatives supporting each other.
