There's a quest in Lord of the Rings online where you are told about how the fellowship splintered, and because it's a video game, you play through it from the perspective of Boromir. Note the only two people in the fellowship that Boromir has bothered to learn the names of are Aragorn and Frodo.

Boromir is in the final fellowship camp in Lord of the Rings Online, along with 'The Dwarf', 'Frodo's servant', 'that halfling', 'The other halfling', 'The Elf', and 'Aragorn <3' (heart emoji mine)

I'm sorry to hear that John Crowley has left the land of the living. Whenever we happened to meet, we talked about strange wonders and lost languages. He had a mind full of magical things, and was always delighted to discuss. May he travel to an interesting ever-afterlife.

Justo bought a "witch stone" from some kiddos who had set up a little stand on the pavement, consisting of a box with some gypsum rocks from the nearby hills on it. Told them I was just looking for one and that I would use it on a spell later.

Finally found time to catch-up with this haunting Citizen Sleeper-like! Really enjoyed the burroughs-esque tone and surreal urban wanderings it has to offer. I grew claws and an arrogant heart as I tried to find my place in the shifting city called Viscera. Recommend giving it a shot:
