I have constituents whose heating oil bills have risen by hundreds of pounds, and the UK government "support" package? Just £35 per person. That's shameful. This unbothered and uncaring Westminster system is completely out of touch with rural Scotland.

Douglas Ross has treated Scotland's Parliament, and by extension the people he represents, with contempt for far too long. I won't be the only local person glad to see the back of him at the next election.

Starmer should resign, but whether he stays or goes is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, because as far back as you can go you’ll never find a Prime Minister that has put the interests of Scotland and the people who live here before themselves. We need independence, not another Unionist PM.

Here's Keir Starmer in 2021 with two WASPI campaigners, promising to support "fair and fast compensation" for 1950s born women. Today, for a 2nd time, his government has refused to deliver compensation to the WASPI women. He's running a government completely devoid of any principles.
