Dad, husband, counselor. Believer in selfish altruism. Lifting others up makes us stronger. Helping others helps ourselves. Not getting into pointless arguments on the internet is an act of revolution.

If you just dropped one of my siblings into my job, the learning curve would be so severe that things would be done incorrectly and inefficiently for months. The same goes for me in one of theirs. The senate just needs a warm body?
The American economic system is completely antithetical to the real needs of average citizens. The middle class is a lie that was told to people to keep them from wholeheartedly embracing communism, and it has been slowly eroded since communism’s fall.
I have to keep telling my daughter and my students that this is a really abnormal time in our history. The kids get it.

We have to have the will to leverage the power of the government and the taxes we pay to help everyone, not build 80-100 million dollar fighter jets in the age of asymmetric warfare.

I know about a million people who would happily volunteer.
