No D&D this week, time to relax with an extra week to prep... What do you mean I don't have maps for Krezk? An inn? The Burgomeister's home? I've at least got the Abbey, right? ... I'm gonna need every minute of that extra time.

There's something so deeply pleasing about responding to an issue to ask the user for more detail, and when checking the response, seeing that the community has already identified the problem and provided the correct fix. #Homebrewery

For years we have been overwhelmed by the volume of code contributions we have to review, especially from new contributors. AI has made the problem much worse. That's why we are taking steps to reduce the burden on maintainers while still welcoming new contributors: godotengine.org/article/cont...

Changes to our Contribution Policies – Godot Engine

Godot is growing fast, so here is how we are dealing with the huge increase in contributions.

You did the thing; the hard thing, the thing you didn't want to do but it had to be done anyway. I see you, getting the difficult things done before they get even harder. I'm proud of you.

Despite being neck-deep in Ravenloft lore for Strahd, today I was struck by the urge to create a Detective Noir setting. For my specific flavour of brain, that means: A. Penny Arcade's Automata, and B. Discworld Noir How I might express that in a TTRPG remains to be discovered.

Discworld Noir's Detective Lewton is hired for a job by a mysterious femme fatale.

Detective Sam Regal and Carl (KR-L) discuss interviewing a wiped automaton in the human-free suburb of Silverside.

Something I've heard, over and over, is "This is how it was when I started." "Gotta learn the hard way, just like I did!" "You've got it so easy now. Not like the old days!" Stop. We're allowed to make things easier for the next generation. We CAN want that. Because if not: what even is the point?

If you're going to claim that you have "manually reviewed, corrected, and validated" the AI code that you're submitting, it'd be better if there weren't obvious hallucinations spotted in the first 30 seconds of human review.
