So last night, I finished up Espermarch: Eyes Of Heaven #1 (the penultimate page posts in an hour). Got an emote out of it, as I do, and felt really accomplished. That's a whole 32-page story that is as done as it's going to be this year and I'm ready to move on. #makingcomics

Naturally, after the stream is over, the captions decided they wanted to work T_T My streaming life is a bit of a nightmare right now. Thank you for your patience, pardon the inconvenience.

We are now in August. The year marches ever forward.

New page is ready to go! Thank you all so much for sticking with me while I get these up. My consistency in posting has been spotty at best, but to know that there are folks eager to see these pages go up make me feel good. Thank you, truly!

What's also great about these one-page and one-scene stories is how they help me develop characters and their relationships with each other in smaller, more intimate scenes. This just may be how I make comics for a while. #makingcomics

Okay. Finally got around to scripting Warsaints' one page from last week, and I'm getting on Hedge Kingdom's script for this week. I think I just want to focus on working this week's one pager? But we'll see where it goes.

I like my scene I wrote, but I want to rewrite it. The new constraint is that the scene has to do more to show who each character is, in general, rather than just be "a moment in time," while still also being a little "slice of life." #makingcomics

I hate getting excited about streaming at the start of the week and setting up a schedule and then that day comes and I'm too tired to go on at the end of the day. One more area where I need to give myself space to just exist and not try to push through extracurricular activity.

When I wrapped work at 4p today, 5p felt far too soon to start stream and I needed a bit of time. Glad for that because I am going to cancel stream for tonight after all and just relax. The day wasn't harder then any other, I'm just more exhausted than I thought I'd be. Should be back Thursday :)

Welp. I got some things done. Certainly not all. Got distracted with a bunch of other stuff on the to-do list. Gonna move on, though, this week's a new page (that still needs a story). #makingcomics

Made a pretty needful update to the website last week! Still some adjustments to make, but hopefully the landing page looks a little more call-to-actiony. The left-side thing will take you directly to the comic now. Maybe the right-side image should take you to the Twitch page? 🤔

I just wrote the outline for this month's four page scene that is already making me tear up. Needs dialogue to finish it off but I'm already expecting to cry through it when it's over. You'll see come Tuesday. #makingcomics
