World Organisation Against Torture (OMCT)

@omct.social

The worldwide network of 200+ NGOs standing up against torture. OMCT is a member of the #UnitedAgainstTorture Consortium.

Standing up for human rights can come at an enormous personal cost. Every day, OMCT supports local organisations fighting torture, defending human rights, and standing alongside survivors. Your donation helps us stand alongside those fighting torture every day.

📢 On 25 June, the OMCT and partners’ Global Torture Index came back with its second edition, bigger and better. After a pilot year, the Index added 12 countries to its list, now covering 39, encompassing all regions of the globe, or 4.07 billion people, almost half of the world’s population.
