I'm a cat and sometimes a wolf. I'm also the Fender fursuiter for Fur Affinity. I like making online content on just about anything. I'm into collecting music, movies, retro games and synthesizers. I also collect and restore classic cars. Single, meow!

So I couldn't remember the last time I put gas in the Geo Metro. It had 3/4 of a tank but I figured I'd fill it before the trip to FD. It took 2 gallons. That's it. 😳

Enough playing around with the DeLorean, I have to pack for Furrydelphia! I will not be taking the car to the con. As much as I'd like to, I'd be a total nervous wreck leaving it in a parking garage. I don't leave that car out alone for long periods of time. I will be driving something funny though.

The early 1981 DeLoreans had a problematic radio antenna embedded in the windshield. Then they gave up and started drilling these horrendous generic fixed antennas right into the passenger front fender. By December 1981 they found a way to hide it in the rear vent which I think is really slick.

The DeLorean is now living in the Future! Now it can do all those fancy new car things like Bluetooth and hands free phone calls. I can even charge my phone with it. I like the dual post look to it. It makes the interior look more period correct compared to the CD player I pulled out.

Eh I'm doing it. I'm installing that new retro radio in the DeLorean. Also gives me the opportunity to improve my work. I'm a bit more nit picky with the way I install radios than I was 15 years ago. It just all plugs in nice now.

The DeLorean was missing the original radio when I bought it. I installed this MP3/CD player about 15 years ago. I have a new retro style radio with more features but no CD. I'm kinda on the fence about it. 🤷

All cleaned up and nowhere to go. I've been meaning to take it out and give it a good run but Friday isn't good. Everybody coming down to the shore, the traffic is going to be nuts.
