In this work we develop a light responsive supramolecular organocatalyst that enables reversible ON/OFF switching of enzyme-mimetic catalyst in water. This strategy combines photo responsive self-assembly with host-guest chemistry to achieve precise light-controlled regulation of catalytic activity.
Happy to share our new paper at Communications Chemistry (doi.org/10.1038/s420...) of @springernature.com We show how light can reversibly control aqueous catalytic activity of molecular organization. A behind-the-scenes is available here: communities.springernature.com/posts/light-...
The first inside back cover of Materials Advances in 2026, is now out! "A light responsive single amino acid-based supramolecular hydrogel for photo-controlled vitamin release" by Divya Chauhan and Chandan Maity O'MatSE Lab 🔗pubs.rsc.org/en/cont...
As we enter into a new year with new hopes, opportunities and creative insights, it's time to take a quick look at 2025, and appreciate the growth it had in store for us! Stay tuned for more #O'MatSE_Lab Happy New Year to all!
