In case, like me, you read and loved ‘Trespasses’ by Louise Kennedy but didn’t get a chance to watch the Channel 4 adaptation, I just found out it’s premiering on PBS tonight. 🙌🏼

“It was great [working with Caitríona Balfe and Ebon Moss-Bachrach]… they’re both really smart, intelligent, interesting people… they’re both beautiful in the film.” — Director Andrew Haigh further praising the cast of ‘A Long Winter’ at TIFF

“These two actors here made it really easy for me. Both Fred and Caitríona were such a joy to work with.” — Director Andrew Haigh introducing ‘A Long Winter’ and praising Fred Hechinger and Caitríona Balfe at TIFF

One word to describe ‘Tenzing’: majestic. A sweeping epic with a gorgeous landscape, incredible cinematography, & a beautiful score, this film is one to inspire awe on multiple fronts. I highly recommend watching it on a big screen if you can to experience its audiovisual splendor. #Tenzing #TIFF26

Despite having known about this novel for years, I was late to the party in reading it. Dark, shocking, melancholic, & reminiscent in setting to ‘Dead Poets Society’, there is unease abound from its first page & the theme of tragedy continues till the end. This story will sit with me for a while.

Ahhh, my friend just met Caitríona at Telluride!!! Apparently, his filmmaker companion had no idea who she was, but my friend asked to take a photo and Caitríona agreed. He said she was very nice, which is no surprise to anyone. 🥹🥰😍

Was just looking through my camera roll for an old photo of a friend’s infant, put in ‘baby’ as the search term, and I swear I got this. Thought you should all know. 😌

"Is she a Marianne...ruled by emotions with a stubborn refusal to conceal her feelings; or is she an Elinor...rational, composed but perhaps too restrained? ‘I think I used to be a Marianne and now I’m more of an Elinor.'" —Caitríona Balfe about Sense & Sensibility for the October issue of Tatler 😍
