A lawmaker wants an attorney general's opinion concerning the legality of state Superintendent Ryan Walters' promotion of a teachers' organization.

I have formally requested an Attorney General Opinion on whether Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters’ use of state letterhead and other state resources to endorse the Teachers Freedom Alliance while explicitly promoting it over other unions and professional organizations—violates state law.

“This piece of legislation limits the scope of health care that we can provide to women in desperate situations when their health is at risk,” Pogemiller said.
