You don’t really need a budget to do indie animation, the problem is “indie animation” has been reduced to bigger budget/studio works with insane frame-by-frame animation, a big crew/voice cast and a merch line instead of scrappy shit you make in a week by yourself or with some friends in Flash.

we need fanime more then ever. go draw something stuipd in mspaint, do all the voices yourself on your broken headphones, make something beautiful that only you can make.
