Today is the last day of summer! That means I really should start taking those fall / Halloween stuff tomorrow :3 I'm an avid walker, so I get pretty sad as it gets too cold, but all the more reason I'm thankful surgery recovery will cover some of the winter time >w<

With a date of November 12th set, I have begun thinking about how to handle my recovery! I'll be sharing some Halloween YCH's in a few days, and will be doing pwww streams soon afterwards! I don't want people just giving me money, it makes me anxious, let me draw you things!
Random 3AM thing while I work on comms: I think Avali fly best by pushing their legs / feet tightly together like an egret. Their hindquarter plumage would cover the geometry in the back of their legs, making them aerodynamic. I want to draw them with longer / slimmer legs.
Update on candles: As it turns out, it is *a lot more expensive* to ship out candles than I had expected. As a result, I have chosen to rescind sales for the time being. The margin of profit I make from them is already quite small, so even discounted shipping means it's a loss.

When getting a piece done, like a portrait, what do you like for backgrounds? I feel like I never really know what to do unless I'm given direction, I end up going with a basic color, maybe a gradient.
