During today's budget debate, I introduced amendments that would: • Keep more tax dollars for education in public schools • Restore the income cap for the private school voucher program • Increase funding for students with disabilities NC House Republicans blocked all of them.

It was so exciting to be present at the groundbreaking of this new affordable housing project in Asheville! 🏗️ My personal favorite part? 12 of the 60 units will be reserved for young people transitioning out of foster care. This matters!
