Saw a post saying "I don't want NSFW accounts to talk about voting, just let me jack off" Buddy, NSFW artists and sex workers are being constantly attacked by a government of nonces trying to distract from their own crimes by pinning the blame on porn. They have the right to speak up about this.

A thing no one tells you about starting exercising is that it sucks for the first few weeks/months. It's hard, your body aches, it's boring. But once I got over the hump it started to feel good. I noticed clarity of thought, and strength. I've never felt a runner's high, but it's close I think

Been reading Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut. Damn if this section doesn't feel like a sledgehammer to the face from 60 years ago. "America is the wealthiest nation on Earth, but its people are mainly poor, and poor Americans are urged to hate themselves."

Republicans love pushing vocational-only education instead of comprehensive-education because they want a healthy supply of low-cost servants and less competition for the professional and boss jobs they want their own kids to have.

In a college sociology class in the late 1980s I was assigned a Marxist analysis of education that argued that the US education system is designed primarily to produce efficient workers for the labor market. And now Trump’s Department of Education is just tweeting it out.

Much like 'political correctness', 'liberal media', and 'woke', the whole 'bluesky is an echochamber' thing only exists as a wedge to delegitimize this space enough to make conservative bias seem legitimate.

I still don't understand the "echo chamber" thing. But then again I am ancient enough to remember chat rooms and hyper specific community message boards. But also the devs crying about this literally gave us the ability to insulate from stuff we don't wanna see? YOU made the sandwich
