Für Merz ist Starrsinn eine Tugend. Widerspruch versteht er als zusätzliche Motivation. Merz erinnert mich manchmal an Wile E. Coyote: Je öfter ihm die Realität zeigt, dass sein Plan gegen die Wand fährt, desto fester glaubt er daran und bestellt sich offenbar einfach eine noch größere Wand.
