I think celebrating lives is important but I also think its strange how we culturally discuss elderly individuals with very full lives dying of natural causes but anyway that's the one and only post I'll make about it because it *has* been an insane week

By almost any measure Dolly embodied "the American Dream." Some people will come from nothing and make it big and consider the problem now solved. Others will remember that there are still others with nothing and use what they have to help.

I feel the biggest failure of most attempts at art social media is the assertion that the social media part is exponentially more vital to longevity than it's ability to function as a portfolio or networking hub

Idk why we can acknowledge that having children when you can't afford them is bad but opening an animal shelter or owning 10 rats or birds or whatever when you can't afford it is apparently fine
