Stop #3 Wednesday was to Mt. Washington Middle School to see the Generals. The staff there is putting in the work in their content AND grade level PLCs. It’s showing in the learning experiences students are getting!!
My second visit Wednesday was to Bullitt East High School. It was obvious that Active Learning has been a focus this year for the Chargers. Students were making real-life connections to what they’re learning, collaborating with one another, and taking an active role in their progression.
I made time to get into several schools this week. Wednesday’s first stop was to Mt Washington Elementary. Our 4th and 5th graders were participating in a “Dollars and Cents” simulation that teaches them about budgeting. Our FBLA kids from Bullitt East were helping!!
Feeling extremely thankful to serve some of the hardest working school leaders I’ve ever been around!!! #Blessed
My second stop today was at @OESMustangs. Our Mustangs were hard at work from Kindergarten to 5th grade. I’m so proud of how hard our teachers and staff are working to build a positive culture in every classroom. You can feel it when you walk in the building!!!
