My mom was more northern in her accent than me despite still living in MD LOL I love saying “y’all” so much, I really started doing it in undergrad when that’s how my Latin prof said the plural “you” form

I talk most like someone from Virginia (52%) followed by Miami, FL, Baltimore, MD, and Washington DC. I am least like Minneapolis, MN, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR. The top shows the cities I speak most and least like. What gave me away was how I say aunt, y’all, yard sale, and water fountain.

Bumping to mention that I've had no recs for an African voice actor. A Black actor who is not from the continent but knows an accent from it is a-okay too Also something worth mentioning that I forgot to say last time is that this is under a SAG-AFTRA contract so it's union safe ☺️👍

y'all one of my work's biggest clients who loved using gen-AI for everything just completely banned it for every aspect of creative moving forward. companies are backing away from AI due to negative public sentiment - keep it up!
