Is there a summer COVID-19 surge this year? Yep, it's ramping up again
Just like all previous summers since the pandemic began, COVID-19 cases are ticking up again, even while other health threats make more headlines.

Many outlets are reporting that Nolan's (excellent) new movie is the first full-on big-screen adaptation of THE ODYSSEY... ... but this is not so. There's also the quite-good ULYSSES (1954) starring Kirk Douglas and Anthony Quinn! Worth a look.
The 70mm presentation of the THE ODYSSEY at the historic Directors Village in Westwood (now operated by the great @amcinematheque.bsky.social) is truly spectacular.

Alas, my version of 'Zorro' is longer happening at Disney. They just didn't see eye-to-eye with what we wanted to do with it. Wilmer and I hope to find another home for it someday. Thankfully, I have another show picking up speed (hence my imminent social media break). But, yeah, it's a bummer.
I'm leaving and/or at least taking an extended break from all social media next week. So, in the meantime... a farewell AMA! If I can answer, I will. Just don't be a dick, if you are, you're blocked.

Aw, man... this is too bad. A very fine actor -- I'll always remember him as the dude from those soapy Tasters Choice commercials in the early 90s. Rest easy.
