The Royal Run in 2027 takes place on May 17th in 5 cities across Denmark. Yesterday the the sale of tickets was opened at 10am and within 3 hours all 102.500 tickets were sold out. The first run was in 2018 when King Frederik turned 50, and has been a yearly event since then.

DTU, the technical university of Denmark, has estimated that the test centre of wind turbines in Østerild, Northern Jutland creates wealth to the local municipalities of 58 million Danish kroner or 9 million €. It creates 66 full time jobs as well as valuable knowledge for the turbine manufacturers.

1/2 In 1989 did Peter persuade his parents to invest in a windturbine. Later he took over his parent's farm and in 2025 he bought the first electric tractor in DK. So now his farm is totally electric. He installed solar panels and the turbine is still running. He drives a 13 old electric car.

Today I charged my electric car on a public charger. I added one third of the full capacity. It gave me 160km of extra range or 100 miles. The cost 22 Danish kroner or 3,5$, or less than the cost of a gallon in the US.

The world's largest ship will pass under the Great Belt Bridge on Tuesday for installation work of wind turbines in the Baltic Sea. In order to pass it must fill the ballast tanks and pass at low tide. The ship is 382 meters long and 124 meters wide. Pic 1 is from a previous passage in Istanbul.

Today is another one of these days, where you can home charge your EV in Denmark to 400 miles of range for 12$, but in the meantime the Trump administration lowers the efficiency requirements for new combustion engine cars. Utterly ridiculous. www.nytimes.com/2026/09/26/c...

Trump Administration Plans to Gut Clean Car Rules

New fuel-economy standards, which President Trump said he finalized Saturday, would kill a federal effort to speed the transition to electric vehicles.

Trump made fun of Denmark/Greenland that they had added one more dog-sledge to defend Greenland, but apparently it was enough to negotiate a deal, that all parties can live with. A Danish tradition is to celebrate a good result with the whole team.

Babbling in the UN about annihilation of a Country, stealing resources and starving a Nation. Insulting the leader of China during a State Visit. Banning the press from doing their job. Taking bribes. Selling pardons. Nepotism. The list is endless. Stop the madness. Vote in the midterms.

The deal is signed. The American president and the PMs of Greenland and Denmark. Years of uncertainty in Greenland has hopefully been put to rest, so we can move forward together. Great thanks to the diplomatic work of the civil servants of the 3 countries.

Today's number from Green Power Denmark is 200. It's the number of the V236-15MW turbines in action in offshore wind parks in Germany, Poland, the Netherlands and great Britain. The first in April 2025. Since June this year 100 have been put at work to supply cheap electricity. Well done Vestas.

I've been told that the price of electricity is determined by the price of natural gas. But Denmark is self sufficient today with wind electricity and export a lot. Biomethane is covering our gas need. We have lots of natural gas from the North Sea and 4 months of gas stored. Damn you Trump.

Price up from close to zero to this within an hourBiomethane covers our need and we have four months of gas consumption stored We export 2,5GW

It's been a very windy Sunday in Denmark. Right now we're exporting 3GW out of a production of 6,815GW, so we might set a new production record. Still we have 4GW of offshore turbines in the pipeline to be installed in the coming years, making it possible to reach our climate targets.

The Swedish population of 10,6 million is the biggest of the Nordic countries with a welfare system. It's bigger than 41 of the American states. You can start by voting for candidates with a welfare agenda, and grow it from there. Things take time and starts with a will to change.

Today's frontpage in the debate section of my newspaper Politiken. Socialism is the antidote to MAGA. Politicians with a welfare state agenda have been doing well in recent elections. These candidates appeal to younger voters and voters feeling forgotten and abandoned by the present administration.
