Help me understand this policy that #Anthem #BCBS is making for anesthesia billing? Basically, if a surgery runs longer than THEY think it should, they just stop paying?? The remaining bill just goes to the patient! What happened to the No Surprises Act?? www.npr.org/2024/12/05/n... #AnSky #RASky

Anthem plans to put time limits on anesthesia coverage, alarming doctors and patients

Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield says it will put time limits on anesthesia care starting next year. Doctors and elected officials, including in New York and Connecticut, are asking it to change course.

Maybe just a question in general but what’s the status of Cryoneurolysis? Who’s doing this in their practice? Eg: Geniculate nerves for TKA Suprascapular n for shoulder Amputation pain Intercostal nerves for thoracic surgery

One use I am exploring is uploading a large number of studies on a particular topic and asking it questions and mining the outcome data. Also trying it to quickly assess risk of bias domains. Uncertain on reliability
