Some good chats throughout the week. Picked up some more video editing work from an agency I work with in the UK. I’ll be working on some social clips over the weekend.

I've been a fan of Jackbox Games since the first You Don't Know Jack game in the 90s. It was great to see behind the scenes with two great cohorts from MinnMax, particularly one who's from the city. Bonus points for the food shots. Made my mouth water.

I can’t believe it’s Friday again. Don’t get me wrong I’m grateful. Although I’ll be doing a little work over the weekend. I’ve started churning out TikTok's for one of my UK clients. I just submitted the first cut and will complete revisions over the weekend.

It’s been another big week of work. I wrapped up the first cut of the podcast I’ve been working on and so far the feedback has been positive. I’m at the stage of adding b-roll now, which should be completed next week.

Last week was a bit full on, so this week I took it a little easy. That’s not to say it wasn’t busy. It just wasn’t as crazy last week where I created 11 web pages, edited five AI blogs, put together seven social media videos.

This XPA from Seeker is tasting mighty fine at the end of the week. It’s been another busy one. Mostly booking new work. I’ve got a few social videos I’ll be working on next week with a new UK client.

Enjoying a delicious chocolate porter from Seeker on this cold and rainy day. I’m also enjoying end of another week. A good week. The movie podcast trial was successful. I’ll share my first episode when it goes live. I’ll be working with them going forward, which I’m very excited about.

Well, it’s Friday afternoon. You know what that means. This week has been a smidge full on.

My favourite time of the day. As Will Ferrell once said in Old School “it tastes so good once it hits the lips”. I feel like I’ve earned it this week.

Another week of work that’s been just too sweet. Edited a couple of game trailers. Not fan ones. Currently editing the video version of a movie podcast. Updated a bunch of Prime Day pages. Wrote a couple of guides. Put together a pitch deck for a charity.

Last night I went to my first networking event run by Screen Illawarra.

I watch a lot of YouTube. It’s not just the latest game trailers or old SNL skits. I’ve been using it as an educational resource for years, learning how to get better at Premiere, cinematography philosophies and storytelling.
