Steve Toth said in April that Republicans were going to "continue to bring prices down." Since then, the cost of gas, mortgages, rent, and groceries are up. Toth the most extreme member of the TX Legislature, but he's also the most out of touch. Don't be fooled on Tuesday, vote Shaun Finnie.

All Americans should be concerned that our checks and balances are at risk. Our system was designed with three equal branches of government so no leader could ever go rogue. No one person was meant to hold unchecked power. That’s the beauty of the United States.

A strong nation prioritizes knowledge and builds pathways for people to attend college, learn a trade, and grow their skills. Education creates opportunity. Research saves lives. We should strengthen these foundations, not scale them back.

Join me and the team for Election Night! After months of hard work, I hope to celebrate with all of you and earn the opportunity to represent District 2 in Congress. I can’t wait to spend election night with the people who made this campaign possible. I hope to see you there!

We are fed up with a government that too often feels divided. We need to start seeing ourselves as one community, not separate groups defined by red or blue. When we listen to one another, include more voices, and work toward common goals, we can build a government that works for everyone.

Younger generations face a far harder economic future than my generation did. My generation, Gen X, and Baby Boomers have put in place legislation that benefits us at the expense of younger generations. People my age aren’t going to deal with the repercussions; young people will.

We need to think about the country and economy we’re leaving the next generation. With rent prices rising and homeownership out of reach, young people deserve a fair shot at building their future. That starts with addressing federal debt, lowering the cost of living, and investing in education.

For young people, getting started is already hard enough. Too many are working full-time and still struggling to find a place they can afford. Starting your career shouldn’t be this difficult. It’s time to make housing more affordable and give young people a fair shot at getting ahead.

The cost of living cannot wait. One of the first things I am determined to work on in Congress is making life more affordable for working families. Americans work hard. They should be able to afford to live and provide for their families.
