Hat tip to Clay Holmes for a hell of a first season as a starter. He was gassed for sure in the second half, but all in all, 11-8, 3.66 ERA, 159.2 IP. There's work to do - he's a pitch-to-contact pitcher as a starter, so he needs to cut the walks down. But well done! 👏 #Mets

Massive game for the #Mets here today. Need to win to control the tiebreaker vs Cincinnati. They'd be 3-3 vs CIN, but NY is 23-19 vs the NL East, CIN is 17-22 vs the NL Central. That's the next tiebreaker, their own division record.
