So many enby AMAB people have treated me the way men treat women, then tried to hide the "he" behind the "they." AMAB people frequently use queer identity to mask harmful behavior learned through male socialization. Foreclosing the conversation by exclaiming "TERF!" is just reinforcing patriarchy.

I'm very interested in hearing it. There's a similar technique that narcissistic abusers use to buy public goodwill so that their victims either won't talk or won't be believed if they do. Whether the manipulation is in political or interpersonal relationships, we need to be aware of everything.

This is why I think the ambitious middle of the actual play space isn't gaining the kind of popularity and traction you all want: - y'all are accustomed to people not paying attention to what you're doing - y'all conflate exposure within the space (which is small and insular) with scaling
This is what capitalism did to nature. You can't actually own land, either, but corporations and governments will certainly stake a claim on it.

That collaboration, all that passion/time was freely given because it made people happy. Now its being monetized. Its exactly like Ai and the internet.
I'm learning the same lesson setting up Dancing Stickman's LLC that I did running for CA State Assembly: There is no ramp. Both starting a business and becoming an elected official are meant for people who already have access to connections and capital.
Since we're watching some of the world's worst power hoarders drop, I'll take this moment to point out that there are maybe 5,000-10,000 people of 8,000,000,000 who would free up all of the resources for the rest of us if they were to perish. ~80,000 dead in the Middle East so far, for context.

I played the lottery for the first time. Did some research, put some strategy into picking numbers, even got some of them right. Ultimately I didn't win. It is exactly what applying for jobs and for grants feels like.
Not an answer to this question, but an observation about "bad actors." This space primarily grew out of D&D, a mechanically dense wargame created by an exclusionary asshole. Problem actors in this space are systemic, even as the space has shifted into popularized counter culture.
