We eat, drink and breathe toxic plastics. This has to stop. We want to turn off the plastic tap. Tackle plastic pollution at the source. We are building awareness and calls to action. We encourage new legislation and encourage investments on new materials

BPA, a prolific chemical in everyday plastic items, will no longer be allowed in plastic that comes into contact with food and drink EU decides. After a 18-month phase out period, hopefully, our exposure to toxic BPAs will be limited and not replaced by another chemical equally or more toxic #BPAban

🌍 A Successful One Planetary Health Symposium at ARTIS! 🌱 In collaboration with ARTIS, Plastic Soup Foundation hosted the One Planetary Health Symposium. It brought together leading scientists to present their research on the dangers of microplastics to our health, ecosystems, and planet.🌏

Today I had the honor of speaking about human health effects of #microplastics in one of the oldest zoos in the world: Artis in Amsterdam. Many companies present to learn how they can help solve the world’s plastic problem. Including many young people, inspiring to see the next generation caring!
