Almost missed #LetterboxdFriday! Would have been a real shame.. because I have a crazy #LastFourWatched lineup this week. Shout out to Return of the Living Dead that got booted last minute by Rockula.
Happy #LetterboxdFriday! Time to post your #LastFourWatched π§‘
Me when I start watching a low budget horror film on Tubi and I recognize an actor from another low budget horror movie
Thinking abt that scene in Return of the Living Dead where Frank tells Freddy to watch his tongue if he likes his job And Freddy just comes back with "LIKE THIS JOB?" with the same energy as this image
"Artists peak at 30", "30 under 30", "by 30 you should" ridiculous. Arts industries capital craves young people to exploit and burn out. It doesn't want older artists thriving and guiding the young. It also doesn't want artists to exist. Stop letting cannibals tell you you only matter on a plate.
Once again its #LetterBoxdFriday My #LastFourWatched this week - bit of a genre charcuterie board. All interesting entries for sure. - La Bamba (dir. Luis Valdez, 1987) - Dog Day Afternoon (dir. Sidney Lumet, 1975) - Heart Eyes (dir. Josh Ruben, 2025) - Destination Wedding (dir. Victor Levin

Happy first Letterboxd Friday of 2026! A lot of Keanu Reeves films and Karate Kid ended my 2025. Had a lot of fun with these!

Got to see Repo! The Genetic Opera in theaters last night! What an absolute treat to see it among a crowd of people, many of whom I suspect had never seen it before based upon engagement. Very happy to have seen one of my favorite guilty pleasure films on the big screen β€οΈ
A little late for #LetterBoxdFriday , but here are my #LastFourWatched ! Netflix's new "K-Pop Demon Hunters" is great! A little generic plot wise, but the fight choreography and music was really fun to watch!

Hello all! It's that time of week again for my #LastFourWatched #LetterBoxdFriday We were looking at animation this week in my theory course, so we have a few animated short films this week alongside Gregg Araki's Nowhere.

For those in the U.S., itβs Tax Day β so what better time to spiral into corporate dread? From cubicle carnage to business card bloodlust, these films turn the workplace into a waking nightmare. See the list on Horrorville: boxd.it/FUAmE

Things are going to get a little fishy for tomorrow's Letterboxd Friday..... π
Happy #LetterboxdFriday ! Here's my #LastFourWatched ! Also the last Letterboxd Friday of March! Time sure does fly. I've only got three new watches for the week, so I once again have Codependent Lesbian Space Alien Seeks Same as one of my most recent films.
Also I won't be posting for Letterboxd Friday this week! It is midterms and I have not watched a single movie </3 I'm too busy writing about them.
Happy #LetterBoxdFriday ! As per usual, here's my last four watched. Got to watch some lovely animated short films in Zorg II and Hidari, as well as the very influential Bruce Lee film, Enter the Dragon. ... and Space Truckers. Which was a ride and a half.
#LetterBoxdFriday #LastFourWatched One of these things is not like the other. - Rear Window (dir. Alfred Hitchock, 1954) - The Long Day Closes (dir. Terence Davies, 1992) - The Argument (with annotations) (dir. Daniel Cockburn, 2017) - Ninjago: Day of the Departed (dir. Peter Hausner, 2016)
There are. Some films that I acknowledge are beautiful and haunting in ways that should provoke deeper thinking from me. But they're just so goddamn boring that my brain replaces the boredom with rage and I can only think about the film ending.
Apologies for being late for #LetterBoxdFriday once again. Per usual, here's my #LastFourWatched . We still have the Lego Ninjago movie here, but now it is accompanied by the wonderfully enticing Bound (1996) and two striking animated short films that can be watched for free on Youtube! Happy #LetterboxdFriday and Valentines Day to those who observe! Here's my #LastFourWatched for this week-- got a variety of genres and tones here.
