Janet Gretzky posted a letter from Hockey Hall of Famer Bobby Orr regarding how "the haters" have gone after Wayne Gretzky following the 4 Nations Face-Off. Regarding Wayne, she said "it has broken his heart to read and see the mean comments."

Was up half the night watching fire footage in California & chatting with friends & old neighbors. The Sunset fire was precariously close to where I used to live. Thankfully they got that one under control. My heart is still breaking for everyone else who wasn't so lucky

While Trump is trolling Canada about annexing it, Canadians are in Los Angeles tonight dropping water on the Palisades fire. He’s a disgrace.

I lived in California for 7 years & will always consider it my home. I've been through my share of fires (picture from the last one I was in). Nothing was as bad as what they're going through now. Sending my prayers to all affected and to the heroes who are trying to stop this. #prayforcalifornia

I love Los Angeles so much. I hate when it burns. I've lived through so many wildfires there but this one seems so much worse. My heart is breaking for my old hometown.

I try to avoid reviews, but saw one by accident. The reviewer had been granted an ARC by my publisher. I know this because she started the review with "I requested this book from Forever Romance. I actually felt indifferent by the story line and I felt indifferent by the cover." Okay...(1/2)

For the first time in a few months I woke up with a smile on my face eager to break out the laptop and start putting down words. I think this new MacBook and the rest I took in December really helped my burnout burn out. I'm ready to conquer my 2025 writing goals!

I've had a very hard road since covid. It stole my husband's work (which relied on travel), made me the only bread winner for almost 5 years, while i also battled long covid & early menopause.
