"A couple of child vulpix on their eggs, floating downstream with no hope of being rescued in a lost river in a forsaken land. Their parents? An unknown fate. Their future? probably the ocean. And they could not do anything to change anything. While they didn't know what was happening outside of the shells of their eggs, they knew something was wrong, and were looking for help, even if their attempts were in vain
Between the sadness and muffled cries of these unfortunate child, they were seen by the wise and mighty Kukulkan, the feathered snake, who in mercy for the kids, guided the explorer Cynder with promises of richness and a prosperous life, to where the eggs were currently traveling.
The human quickly managed by themself to save the eggs from the wild rapids of the river, something they won't longer have to fear anymore. However, once in land, the human started to feel the body change under a strange power, coming from the old mighty Kukulkan. The explorer didn't get it, as they were promised with richness and prosperity. However, Kukulkan later answered with their savvy tongue it was true what he promised. At the end, a life dedicated to care on these forgotten child will be rich in love, and prosperous in emotions, no matter the circumstances.
But Kukulkan was not evil, nor planned to trick this recently transfomred shiny ninetales, so he offered a deal: The explorer will be the new mother of these poor child, and if they grow up to be respectable vulpines in these old lands, Kukulkan will come back to offer whatever the explorer would like to have or be, and he will be obligated to comply no matter the task. Until then, seeing throughout his eyes, puts his trust in the new protector of these newborns, believing he has picked the correct person"
