#BlueSkyArtShow #Scape Found in the river. #EastCoastKin #ECK #Photography #Landscape #Sunset #Clouds #aofoto #aoFotoCall #AccidentalArtist

A landscape color photo of a an empty bottle floating on the shore of a river. The photo is taken form a low vantage point at sunset. The horizon is about in the middle of the picture, the sun is in the dead center and there are dramatic clouds everywhere with a sliver of light coming through at the horizon and reflecting in the background water and the bottle on the foreground. The bottle is really wel lit, but the water around it in the foreground is dark, almost black.

'Zahlen: Zwei' D - Am Strand wird 2 × 2 manchmal, ähm, 2… Oder wurde aus 2 umgekehrt sogar 4? > Vrouwenpolder, the Netherlands e - On the beach, 2 x 2 sometimes comes to, er, 2... Or, conversely, did 2 actually become 4? #FotoVorschlag #Photography #ECK #SensoryArt #Roads

This is a landscape photograph of a sandy beach. Two tracks run from the top right towards the left of centre, where a car has apparently driven. However, in the top centre, one track curves off to the left. It ends at the bottom right of the photograph. The tracks are so deep that they lie in the shade. This, combined with the sun still being low in the sky, creates a striking contrast with the sand and the beach surrounding them.

This remarkable 18th-century violin is one of just five Delftware violins known to exist. It was created as a decorative object. Look closely and you’ll spot its delicate ivory tuning pegs, bridge, and tailpiece. 🎻 👁️ https://id.rijksmuseum.nl/200112226

#31DaysOfGraves Day 1: Flower E - Roses on a grave, a symbol of love. Sprinkled with dewdrops. They could be pearls... D - Rosen auf einem Grab, ein Symbol der Liebe. Mit Tautropfen besprenkelt. Es könnten Perlen sein... #Photography #ECK

This is a horizontal photograph, taken in a cemetery from a frog’s-eye view. In the foreground is a cluster of roses. In the foreground on the left are two old-pink roses. In the foreground on the right is a cream-coloured rose with shades of pink. In the back left, a small section of a purplish-red rose can be seen. The photograph was taken early in the morning at the end of November 2020, whilst the night’s dew still clung to the flowers. The outlines of trees and the sky can be seen in the background.

'Vom Weg abgekommen' / “Off the beaten track” D - Da liegst du nun im Olivenhain und träumst von den Wellen, durch die du einst stolz geglitten bist > Stoupa, Peloponnes, GR E - There you lie in the olive grove, lost in thought about the waves you once proudly cut through #FotoVorschlag #ECK

This is a landscape-oriented evening photograph of an olive grove. It is situated right next to a road where lampposts cast an orange/yellow glow over the surroundings. This also makes the small, white fishing boat stand out. It lies on its side amongst the trees; not a place where you would expect to find a boat. In the centre and top left, the sky is dark blue, with a few clouds still visible. The photograph was taken on 15 September 2024 at 8.15 pm.

'Uhren' / "watches / clocks" D - Wo es Schatten gibt, gibt es auch Licht. Danke, Sonnenuhr, dass du mir auch das sagst. > Ritten, South Tyrol, Italy E - Where there is shadow, there is also light. Thank you, sundial, for telling me that too. #FotoVorschlag #Photography #ECK

This is a landscape photograph of a mural depicting a sundial. The wall is painted white. To the right of centre, a ‘flaming’ sun has been painted. A vertical rod extends diagonally downwards from the centre of the sun. As the sunlight hits it, the rod casts a shadow in the form of a ‘ribbon’ marked with the numbers (hours) 7 to 12 and 1 to 5. The shadow of the rod falls here over the 12 (o’clock). The area between the sun and the ‘number ribbon’ is filled with elongated strips in various colours, including ochre, orange, red and lilac. To the left of this is the text ‘Only the shadow reveals the light’. In the top and bottom left-hand corners, parts of window frames can still be seen. This is an archive photograph dated 16 July 2019.

'Typisch für meinen Wohnort / meine Heimat' D – In #Aachen (D) findet jedes Jahr ein großes Reitturnier statt. Da darf eine Statue wie diese natürlich nicht fehlen E - "‘Typical of where I live / my hometown": statue, as symbol of Aachen as the City of Horsemen #FotoVorschlag #ECK #ClassicMono

This is a horizontal black-and-white photograph of a bronze statue of a horse. The stone plinth on which the statue stands is a few metres high. The photograph was taken from below. The lifelike statue has its legs positioned quite far apart, in front as well behind. Its head is raised to the left. It is no coincidence that it is called ‘The Cheerful Stallion’. The statue dates from 1963 and was created by Gerhard Marcks. The statue can be found on Theaterplatz in Aachen, Germany.

A white card lies at an angle on a muted green surface. It reads “LOVE / FAITH / HOPE” in three lines, the letters formed from dark stems with small green thorn-like leaves. Warm golden light catches the lower and right edges of the card, while a curved band of golden light appears in the darker area to the left.

'See oder Teich' / “Lake or pond” D - Unverkennbar: ein Teich. Aber nicht irgendeiner. Dies ist eine der Quellen des Beverbach. > Aachen Forest, Aachen, Germany E - A pond. More than that: the source of the Beverstream. #FotoVorschlag #EastCoastKin #Stunday #source

This is a portrait shot of a pond situated in a wood. This is one of the places where the Beverstream has its source. In the lower half of the photograph, the sky and clouds are reflected in the clear water of the pond. The pond is partly hidden beneath the greenery of the reeds. Trees can be seen in the background. The photograph was taken in late May 2021, as can be seen from the still fresh, young greenery.
