Office Hours IRL: I saw my neighbor who's writing a musical on the street just now. He's more a music guy than a theater guy, so we had a nice little talk about narratives and what they need. "Narratives are just keeping your protagonist from what they want as long as possible," I told him.

I basically just make it up as I need it. There's some basic word-construction concepts, and a few minor grammar rules (verb on the end, address markers that show relationship between speakers in the front). But I haven't needed to develop more than you've read.
