S2 pupils have recently been learning about the components of a computer system. The BBC Micro:Bits are great for this as they have different input and output devices. Here, pupils are using the light sensors and LEDs.

We recently polled our S3 classes on the type of activities they prefer for starts and plenaries. There was a very clear winner with WayGround being popular. "Wayground is more fun and interactive then any of the other options." "It's fun and interactive, you can get on with it yourself easily"

Mrs Alexander-Doyle’s S3 Computing Science class are getting a taste of the National 5 course this week as part of faculty fortnight. Pupils are trying out procedural programming with Python and making short quiz programs.
