I’m finally going to show a few of the things I’ve been working on, this is a ladybug print.
Bit different from my usual work, but I sold two paintings at my open studio a few weeks back. Really happy with how both of these turned out. The portrait is powdered charcoal, the other is oils, both on wood panels.
I’ve been experimenting with powdered charcoal lately to force myself to be more spontaneous. Having a surprising amount of fun with it!
Made some more stuff, think I’m going to add something to the center of the skulls if anyone has any thoughts on what that should be…
Had another open studio! Much more enthusiastic audience, so much so that I’m going to make a website! I’ll post that when I have something ready!
