Since getting properly and completely medicated, and being able to do the manual labor part of my job again, I ha e lost 25 pounds so far 😊 i know the numbers shouldn't matter but it still feels really good to be slimming a bit to get to a healthier weight

Today I met someone that @milkpork.bsky.social has worked with for photography shoots. She's INCREDIBLE as a person and as an aerial acrobatics artist, beautiful, graceful, talented, strong. The first thing she said to me? "You're so beautiful!" 😭😭😭 I think I could die.
Just trying to release the bad habits and feel good about myself lately. Can't say it's going all that great.
When i just want to put a movie on and watch it while also working on something, it'd be nice if it was obvious and VERY clear "this movie is in x language, not English." I can't gather a story while only paying half attention if I can't understand the language 😕 I don't have a multi-language brain
I respect the hell out of anyone who puts themselves out there in any artistic way. But. I feel like if youre going to narrate an audiobook, you gotta be able to act a bit or at least seem like you understand human emotions on some level.
I am officially at that age where I feel like the younger generations totally missed out on some of the best music. Elder emo for life 🤘
For anyone new here or who doesn't know, I am an animal caretaker at a shelter. I work with both the cats and dogs but have more experience and gravitate towards the cats. So my feed will always have random photos of kittens and cats (and dogs, too, sometimes!) Enjoy!
