Gloria Steinem was a trailblazer and tireless feminist. Her activism inspired countless others and paved the way for gender equality. I was privileged to attend one of her legendary salons in my honor and witness her commitment to the next generation. She will be missed.

For 250 years, America has striven to make its foundational promises true for everyone.  We’ve come a long way. We aren’t there yet.  Together, we can protect and build upon our progress towards that more perfect union. Happy Birthday, America.🇺🇸  #America250

On Juneteenth, we celebrate the long fight for freedom. As we remember how far we’ve come, let us recommit to the work left to do to guarantee every American’s right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Thanks to the Trump Administration’s disastrous policies, Americans face rising costs for groceries, gas, healthcare, and so much more. While Americans struggle to make ends meet, the President hosted a blowout U.F.C. birthday bash for over $60 million dollars. Shameful.

The Supreme Court’s gutting of the Voting Rights Act represents another backlash to Black Americans’ political, social, & economic progress. Just like previous generations, we must organize, mobilize, & turn out at the ballot box for these critical elections. More with @cnn.com.
