We are less than a week away from the start of the Northern Michigan Faux Football League season kickoff. Sunday the 26th pits NMFPL Champions Posen Ivy SC against Whitetail Cup Victors Sporting Summer Island. That leads us into the August 1st & 2nd start of the 2026-27 season.

This Saturday is the NMFFL Whitetail Cup Final from Shambley Stadium. Sporting Summer Island off there League 2 promotion playoff win, will face AFC Houghton Lake FC at noon.

The regular seasons are done. The playoffs have concluded. Only one thing left, the NMFFL Whitetail Cup Final. Sporting Summer Island look for yet another trophy as they battle AFC Houghton Lake FC. Next Saturday. Noon.

The NMFPL Final is set. The Mackinaw City Redcoats defeat the Menominee Wild Rice 1 goal to nil. They will face off against Posen Ivy SC, who made their way into the final by beating Paradise City Shipwrecks 3-1.
