Positivity, Gratitude all day. I enjoy helping people find stuff on the internet. Love my city, Philly.

One of the hardest things to do as a marketer (well some) is both encourage team members to write and blog, while also not over investing your time and energy into posts with a low likelyhood to perform. How do you all balance this?

If I was interviewing a marketer, I'd love to ask them a question like, when is the last time you launched a newsletter or a social post on a weekend or at 1 am? The idea is to look for people who challenge common held beliefs, pull their own data, and find out for themselves.

When it comes to writing and whether or not to use AI I think it's critical to separate out what is the job to be done. Is the job to be done to get a high quality & unique idea into the world or to "not sound like AI" Both are fine but knowing what your JTBD is will make it easier to decide.

Based on what you read, it's easier than ever to make your feel worse about the plight of your tribe. Diversify your sources. Even for stuff you agree with, ask yourself, might this publication have an angle and then ask yourself how often can I find examples of balance.

In the early 1970s it took an average of four years to build a nuclear power plant in the United States. With the advance of technology and the gaining of experience, that time should have been cut to 2 years. Instead, as a result of the implementation of some bizare process, it now takes 16.

The takeaway wasn't the test and the impressions that grew, it's watching an intern whom I invest real time with, in office, go from not knowing what SEO was just 6 weeks earlier, start to "get it" and show results. www.seerinteractive.com/insights/5-c...

How an intern 10x'ed impressions with 1 AI experiment

Is your older content sitting flat? Here's how 5 targeted changes took one page from under 100 impressions to 1,195 and earned a Google AI Overview.

there is no one you can change. Only yourself. it’s not giving up on people. It’s putting your energy where it can actually do something. Every hour spent trying to change someone who didn’t ask is an hour stolen from the one person (yourself) you can change. wangcong.org/2026-06-30-w...

Why I Stopped Arguing With People

I am a software engineer, and I used to enjoy arguing with people for technical correctness. Code reviews, design meetings, mailing-list threads, dinner tables. If someone was wrong, I wanted them to ...

For any folks who have original art or photos on Instagram disable Meta AI on your settings. Otherwise other users can use Meta AI to remix your stuff. In the app, settings, sharing and reuse, disable. It's about halfway down the page of settings. Be sure you're on the latest version of the app.

Every tactic for AI optimization has to balance the demands of your manager / client (speed) against the risk and likely impact. So I built a tool to help me have these conversations better, its open anyone can use it to help you too. Feedback welcomed!! www.seerinteractive.com/insights/geo...

My GEO Strategy & Consulting Tool is open sourced

GEO consulting is about a LOT more than just the tactics we deploy, it's about assessing the risk vs then potential impact vs the ability to get the work done.

Diversity creates friction. Because different people from different backgrounds have different cultures and Different norms. The United States by it's nature will always have some friction because we are different people from very different cultures yet somehow we find a way to keep it pushing.

At midnight by Philly's City Hall a group of teenagers watched my wallet and phone so I could play pickup soccer. Great vibes in the city tonight! A mix of Croatians, Philadelphians, and others were rotating in and out. It wrapped up at ~12:30 when the ball owner had to go.

Before you shame a high quality publisher, who is now falling off as they allow AI to creep into their posts, ask yourself. Did I: 🔳 Pay to subscribe or donate 🔳 Intentionally click on & buy from links / ads 🔳 Offer my services for free / discount

Rio de Janeiro marathon. goal: 3:30 Previous PR: 3:48 Ended with: 3:40 ❎ Got a lot of work to keep pace after 18. Missed goal but I'm "kinda" ok with this run. Slow progress is still some progress, going to try to get this 330 in the better conditions of Philly. #marathon #runners
