The BBC on Monday released a new action-packed trailer for the third season of hit drama Vigil and unveiled that the show, starring Suranna Jones and Rose Leslie, will launch on BBC iPlayer and BBC One starting on Sunday, Aug. 30. The six-part season, made by World Productions (Line of Duty, Until I Kill You, Showtrial), part of ITV Studios, was filmed in Svalbard, Norway and Scotland. Two episodes of Vigil will become available weekly on BBC iPlayer from Aug. 30, with the series airing Sunday and Monday nights at 9 p.m. on BBC One from that date.
