I suspect that the DNC gave up on stuffing Detroit ballot boxes when McMorrow conceded and pledged her support of El-Sayed early this morning. Call me a conspiracy theorist but I don’t trust the DNC.

The DNC is going to hand the midterms to the Republicans.

I just remembered that AP declared in the fall of 2024 that it will no longer call elections. The pressure from GOP supporting oligarchs was clearly too severe to fight.
I keep checking NYT updates and it refuses to acknowledge/share that McMorrow has conceded and placed messages on Facebook and Instagram declaring El-Sayed the winner and pledging him her full support.

The pro-Israel NYT describes El-Sayed as “clinging to a narrow lead” revealing its bias. Let’s remember how the NYT opposed the candidacy of Mamdani and still supported Andrew Cuomo as an Independent after he’d lost the primary despite his sordid history as governor.

I would bet good money that AP is getting serious pressure from the pro-Israel lobby. Btw, El-Sayed’s heritage is Egyptian but he tells the truth about Israel and the American pro-Israel lobby besides his primary opposition to the Republican agenda.
