I've said before that to make a superhero game work, the gameplay really has to fit the character. - Batman's gadgets make him the perfect Metroidvania character. - Spider-man's maindefining feature is swinging around New York. - I'd play the shit out of a Wonder Woman spectacle fighter.
If you told me this box-art belonged to a survival horror game where you're constantly being chased by this horrific insatiable robot...THING, I'd believe you. Which is not a criticism; that's metal as fuck. #blutoid

I've played Ocarina of Time so often that it's difficult to sit down and really appreciate it. I play it almost like a speedrun now. It's like how I've watched LotR so many times that now I always grab my phone while it's on. Point is; I haven't been this excited to play OoT in years! #blutoid
I ended up backing this, and two of my three votes got through to the final! Plot Armor was my favorite, followed by Architactics. I'm not so sure how feasible Plot Armor is for a gamejam, but it's a fantastic concept. #blutoid

We just finished a 1,5-year D&D campaign (Storm King's Thunder), which makes this the first long-form campaign I've ever seen through to the end. My Stars Druid (great class!) heroically sacrificed herself a few sessions ago, but passed the baton to a Monk who thus got to punch a dragon. #blutoid
Back from my weekend grouptravel arrangement in the Ardennes. I have mixed feelings about the experience. "Mostly positive", in Steam terms. The trip itself was great, but I feel I let myself down on the "meeting new people" part.

As someone who got into Fire Emblem with the GBA games and Path of Radiance, it's still a bit disappointing to see another game focus on between-fight time management stuff. I can also take or leave the new Byleth-character. I'd rather just string fights together with cutscenes. 🤷♂️ #blutoid

Netherlands out of the World Cup, and not a moment too soon. Got woken up several times by fireworks and trumpets during games in the middle of the night. I don't even mind football as a sport, but I'm so annoyed by the ridiculously disproportional attention it gets over here. #blutoid

Remember when Project Rainfall was mostly focused on The Last Story, and Xenoblade was seen as a nice extra? Well I liked Xenoblade before it was cool, so there! Can't wait for what's technically already Xenoblade 5. And then surely one day Monolith will make Baten Kaitos 3. Surely. #blutoid
Just finished Yoshi! Despite concerns about a few very critical reviews, I REALLY enjoyed it. Best game Goodfeel has made in at least 10 years. But you can't go into it expecting a platformer. This is 100% a puzzle game. In fact, the closest comparison is actually Pokémon Snap. #blutoid
There's a verb we have in Dutch: "gunnen". There's no English equivalent, but it's a mix of "I'm happy for you" and "I want for you to have something good". It's "I love that for you" without the sarcasm. This is my feeling for Deborah Ann Woll getting the starring role in God of War. #blutoid
