In the witch trial era, the witch was understood as an entirely malign concept. This perception was based on the belief that a person could covenant with the devil to gain power to harm others, to hurt their community, to go against the plan of the patriarchal government and ministers.

Today is International Albinism Awareness Day. Take in what Jay says is being done to persons with albinism. "People are using the body parts of people with albinism to perform ritual and that is causing mayhem or causing people with albinism to lose their lives, because of other people beliefs."
