I shall certainly consider writing a strongly worded TripAdvisor review of the quality of triffids which have landed over the last hour, which fall significantly short of the digestive power and general malignancy promised in the so-called mainstream media.
For a nation so familiar with not seeing the sun, sometimes for months on end, it is uplifting that the Scottish public can still be counted on on turn up to admire a lack of sunshine and abundant cloud cover on special occasions. And folk say we're a jaded people.
